Obligations of the free world
We, the voters of this topic, petition the United Nations to take immediate action in accordance with the view below that best represents the majority expectations for the following topic:- *** Those in the free world have within their power (via the UN) the ability to intervene in those regions and countries that oppress their people. With sufficent support, all unpopular regimes can be toppled and replaced. The question is should freedom be exported? If the people of a given place are oppressed, then should we ignore their human rights for freedom that can be provided? Should the UN be re constitued to ensure that appropriate action is taken to end such regimes? What are some alternatives?
