Encourage drug users to sue their suppliers

Drugs are a huge ssocial issue that seems to have no end in sight as the expanse of chemical knowledge makes it possible for an ever increasing range of illicit drugs to be produced. The black market industry is huge and generally protected from law enforcement by threats of violence towards individuale tempted to give evidence, as well as finacial returns making it seem attractive to manufacturea and distribute them. One solution to encourage people to give evidence might be to modify laws so that drug users are encouraged to take legal action and sue their suppliers for large settlements. The cases could even be put forward as a class action and multiple users could join the case. If sufficiently proven, then the settlement could be calculated by determining the expected income received and if not paid, a jail sentence imposed. In essence, this is a way of turning the lucrative market against the suppliers and dealers.
