Monarchies in modern times
Monarchies are a form of government from olden days. Although they generally are for ceromonial reasons these days, they do still have official powers and in some countries they still rule. Interestingly, many major democracies are among those still ruled by Monarchs, which of course are not elected, but ascend to the Crown by birth right. Is there still a need for Monarchs in the modern day? Should there be some modernisation of their role? What are your thoughts?
