What price an education?
Many countries have a variety of educational standards based on what the individual can afford. More correctly, what the parents can afford. The question is are we better off funding our schools and universities by the more wealty and any others that choose to take out a loan, which deprives the less fincially capable of the right to a good and equal education, or should it be fully funded by the government? What other mechanism could be installed to ensure that the 'free' resourses are utilised correctly and not wasted by disinterested students? Is society being held back currently by a less educated community? What is the best way to ensure the right people get the right education at the right price?
